(i'd written this for one of ma projects on Senior Citizens)
Their hair aren’t sun-dried,
Its experience by measure.
And they have laughed and cried
For their children’s pleasure.
Agreed, we are the future,
But don’t forget they made us
So in the autumn of their lives,
Let’s make it count by love, care and trust.

naa seriously, it's tru 2 da core, i personally feel ashamd rather thn movd wen i c reel or real aged people trying 2 make it on deir own...da guilt is further amplified by da fct tht even fter losin a son dey nurtured n left betrayd by deir own siblings, dese people hv a sense o dignity n pride wid which dey carry demselves...da way dey hide deir pain wid a "i'm fyn thnk u" luk on deir faces...js so painful...
